SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
MINUTES
September 22, 2008

PRESENT:

Mayor Todd Eberle; Council Members Loretta Ertel, Sandra Leonard, Alan Simon, Sandra Tucci, City Attorney Grover Potts; City Administrator Ann Simms;

Absent:   Council Member Stuart Miles

CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING:

Mayor Eberle called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.   He noted that the special meeting had been called in accord with Kentucky Revised Statues 83A.130 (11) by the Mayor on the advice and unanimous consent of the City Council.   The specific and sole purpose of the meeting was to formally receive and open bids for the construction of a salt, sand and mulch storage structure on land within the city of Prospect, Kentucky.

SPECIAL MEETING BUSINESS:

Mayor Eberle noted the requested specifications for the proposed structure and opened three bids reflecting bids as follows:   $26, 280, $36,175 and $59,684.

COMMENTS FROM CITIZENS:

None    

ADJOURNMENT:

There being no further business, Council Member Zimmerman moved adjournment; Council Member Leonard seconded; passed unanimously.  

Mayor Eberle declared the meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
